Description: The Production Supervisor directs, coordinates and supervises operational activities within their area necessary to safely and efficiently produce and process oil and gas streams while adhering to all company and governmental policies, guidelines and regulations. The Production Supervisor ensures that the area operating plans are executed within timelines and targets. Responsibilities may include: Setting and operating within a yearly gross OPEX budget Setting and achieving yearly production targets Interacting with all engineering functions to insure CAPEX targets are met Leading safety and environmental performance of area Supervising and working with a team of Multi Skilled Operators that operate and maintain oil and gas wells, gas compression & dehydration, measurement, and all surface facilities in a safe, efficient, and environmentally sound manner Providing oversight, guidance and direction for a PSM facility Liaising with various specialists to accomplish priorities in the assigned work area Providing relevant skills training to direct report Providing mentoring and conducting regular performance reviews of direct reports Providing work prioritization input and indirect supervision to support personnel and support service organizations to drive effective design and execution of work activities Overall responsibility for effective design and execution of production optimization efforts Leading and participating in updates and implementation of new policies and procedures, and processes to ensure compliance Participating and leading RCFA of incidents Providing updates on daily operating activities for the area Providing weekly summaries for area War reports Modifying operating procedures as needed to reflect MOC and other changes Maintaining operating procedures and operator certifications as needed Participating in Management of Change process Maintaining current Process Safety Management and other required documentation Performing facility safety and other audits Safety of personnel and equipment in the area Responding to emergencies and first aid calls, may act as Operations, Planning or Safety Officer as part of Incident Command System Establishing training objectives and developing strategies to ensure operators are qualified and trained Responsible for compliance with government regulations and corporate guidelines (reporting/IMPACT). Maintain good working relationships with regulatory agencies and landowners Providing assistance to maintain operating integrity of mechanical equipment in field Participate in chemical program Qualifications: Basic/Required: Legally authorized to work in the United States Must currently reside or be willing to relocate within a 40-mile driving radius of Loving, NM Valid driver's license 5 years experience in oil and gas operations 3 years supervisory experience Preferred: Ability to write and speak Spanish would be advantageous Associate's degree or higher in Process Technology, Production Technology or a related technical field Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word and SAP Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to interact with multiple layers of organizations Knowledge of gas plant operations Knowledge of and/or experience with PSM facilities Takes ownership of actions and follows through on commitments by courageously dealing with important problems, holding others accountable, and standing up for what is right Builds strong relationships based on trust and seeks opportunities to collaborate across the matrix/organizational boundaries to achieve business goals Takes an active role in acquiring, developing, and retaining a high-performing, highly engaged team In order to be considered for this position you must complete the entire application process, which includes answering all prescreening questions and providing your eSignature on or before the requisition closing date of July 11, 2018 .
