Description

Asset register database, inspection data accuracy, data analysis and trending are critical to GPBU Asset Integrity Management. The primary responsibility of Asset Integrity Technician is to maintain a robust inspection database (PCMS) up to date. This position will manage the integrity of the database, manage bulk upload activities, and generate custom database reports, etc.

Your responsibilities may include:

  • Establish and maintain pressure vessels, storage tanks and piping up-to-date register and inspection data in Plant Condition Management Software (PCMS)

  • Coordinate timely entry of inspection report data into PCMS

  • Monitor PCMS for proper function of the scheduling, calculation, and synchronization modules

  • Synchronize PCMS data with asset control (SAP) data as necessary

  • Coordinate development and execution integrated annual inspection plan for all GPBU assets and track execution status to ensure compliance

  • Coordinate asset integrity annual inspection budget development for each GPBU asset.

  • Coordinate development of GPBU integrated Long-term 10-Year Inspection Plan and coordinate periodic review to maintain the plan is updated

  • Assist asset integrity inspectors in creating inspection schedule and inspection work pack for planned inspections

  • Conduct preliminary analysis and trending of inspection data and provide customized report

  • Liaise with operations and maintenance personnel to collect Asset Integrity metrics (Scorecard) data generate KPI report and facilitate KPI review meetings

  • Collect loss of containment data and generate analysis report in regular basis

Qualifications:

Basic/Required:

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States as a U.S. citizen or national, or an alien admitted as permanent resident, refugee or asylee

  • 3 years of experience as a technician in a similar technical documentation role

  • 1 years of experience with PCMS or other inspection data management software programs

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

  • Willing and able (with or without a reasonable accommodation) to travel 10% of the time on an annual basis

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Technology or foreign equivalent

  • 5 years of experience in the oil and gas industry

  • Intermediate knowledge of API 510, 570 and 653

  • Intermediate proficiency with Spotfire or other data analytic tools

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and efficiently prioritize work to meet deadlines.

  • Takes ownership of actions and follows through on commitments by holding others accountable and standing up for what's right

  • Delivers results through realistic planning to accomplish goals

  • Builds effective solutions based on available information and makes timely decisions that are safe and ethical
