Description:

The Permian Facilities Coordinator leads the day to day facilities and fleet maintenance at the Carlsbad, NM and surrounding area ConocoPhillips facilities. This position reports to the Delaware Facilities Director and is responsible for serving as a backup to the Director.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Provide oversight of facilities maintenance and repair work at Carlsbad, NM facility including but not limited to janitorial, landscaping, and preventative and predictive facilities management (i.e. maintenance of heat and air system, electrical systems, fire sprinkler and fire alarm systems, exterior building, plumbing, carpentry, security systems and cameras, backup generators, parking lot sealing and striping, etc.). Oversight consists of contacting and scheduling approved contractors to perform work onsite

  • Assist in care and maintenance of 3 building sites separated by 75 miles, including but not limited to janitorial, landscaping, all facilities maintenance and repairs, meeting planning and room setup, and catering coordination

  • Manage fleet program including but not limited to repair and service items of 100 business unit field and pool vehicles (most needing service at least once a quarter) preventative maintenance and forecast replacement in support of the 3-year plan/budget. Assist business unit in planning/coordination of fleet replacement based on mileage and repair costs of vehicles

  • Serve as point of contact to service provider (Wheels) for the Carlsbad office area pool vehicles

  • Handle business unit pool vehicle check out process and handle vehicle documentation to include insurance, registration and license plates

  • Provide oversight of company housing, including but not limited to cleaning, stocking of consumables, setup of furniture and household items, maintenance and repair work, cable/internet service setup and bill paying

  • Ensure contractors understand scope of work and safety requirements

  • Complete all Real Estate & Facilities Services HSE/OSHA required permits and checklists

  • Collaborate with Global Security and Supply Chain to onboard new contractors and create security badges

  • Serve as back-up for the Delaware Facilities Director and assist with facilities management duties and vacation relief as needed

  • Use SAP to build work orders and building schedules, and code/approve invoices

  • Travel between sites is estimated to be 10-20% of the time, sometimes in acute weather conditions

Qualifications:

Basic/Required:

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States

  • 3 years of experience in facilities maintenance or related field

  • Proficient with Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

  • Willing and able to travel up to 20% of the time

  • Willing and able to travel by car, driving long hours between remote locations in sometimes extreme weather conditions

Preferred:

  • 3 years of experience in fleet management

  • Associate degree or higher in business management, building/facilities management or facilities related field

  • Proficient with SAP

  • Takes ownership of actions and follows through on dedications by holding others accountable and standing up for what’s right
