Job Summary
Information Technology and System Analysts provide application and infrastructure support for ConocoPhillips operations.
As a University New Hire in the ConocoPhillips Information Technology organization, you’ll participate in our Digital Rotation Program. This program includes three 1-year rotations within various disciplines. These disciplines include, but are not limited to, opportunities in:
Application/Automation Development
Cloud Engineering
Data & Analytics
Emerging Digital Technologies
Global ERP, IT Finance, & HR IT Capabilities
Infrastructure Engineering
IT Security
Network Engineering
Technical Capabilities
Assignments will typically be at one of our sites located in Bartlesville, Oklahoma or Houston, Texas. There may also be limited opportunities available in Anchorage, Alaska. All IT University New Hires will begin their employment with our 8-week “Navigate” onboarding program in Bartlesville, OK before being assigned to their long-term location. You may be eligible for the voluntary hybrid office work (HOW) program that is designed to provide employees with flexibility while maintaining the advantages of in-person engagement.
Job Description
Responsibilities may include:
Identifying and implementing e-solutions that enhance our business model and streamline processes
Developing and supporting automation processes across enterprise functions
Translating business requirements into analytics solutions
Developing, implementing, and supporting network security processes
Utilizing a wide range of technologies including artificial intelligence, cloud computing, data warehousing, telecommunications, and databases to deliver IT services
Developing technical direction to gain competitive advantage in scientific computing areas (visualization, storage networks, etc.)
Basic/Required:
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer and/or education institution
Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related field or foreign equivalent
Current level in college: Senior
Expected graduation date: Fall 2024 through Spring/Summer 2025
Preferred:
Willing to work in either of these locations: Bartlesville, Oklahoma, Houston, Texas or Anchorage, Alaska
A minimum cumulative and major GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to generate effective solutions based on available information and makes timely decisions that are safe and ethical
Ability to invite dialogue to gain a shared understanding and influences with confidence to drive performance and achieve business results
Demonstrates an understanding of how key financial and quantitative indicators impact the business
